Event Information & Vendor Registration

Important Times: (for all venues)
Vendor Set-up: 2pm
VIP & Industry Hour: 4-5pm
General Admission: 5-7:30pm

Event Locations: Our 2023 events will be entirely indoors this year, so outdoor weather will not be a concern.

Booth Cost: $250/Location – Includes space at the event to promote your brand, table, tablecloth, 2 chairs at your booth, dump bucket/pitcher, ice, and your logo with a link to your website from our event website!

Please Note: Your vendor booth fee is non-refundable. However, just like our ticket sales, it is transferrable. If you find at the last minute you are unable to attend and man your own booth space, you can still hire a local bartender for $200 to pour for you -or- You can find another brand to take over your booth space/take your spot.

What do I need to bring?

  • Disposable sample cups for up to 500 attendees
  • Ice bucket if you will be sampling chilled products
  • Banners (Table top and standing banners only. Please do not hang anything on the hotel walls or table clothes.)
  • Drink Recipe Cards/Sales Sheets + Stands to put them in
  • Distillery Information/Flyers + Stands to put them in
  • Bar Mat and/or Bar Towels for potential spills
  • Promotional items and giveaways for up to 300 attendees during VIP hour. This is optional during the first hour, at your discretion.
  • Pour spouts (Per Idaho’s liquor sampling laws, it is required that all liquor vendors have 0.25 oz measured pour spots on their bottles. Please plan ahead and order these online. Local restaurant supply stores do NOT have these in stock.)
  • Liquor sample bottles – You may sample any product that is sold in Idaho State Liquor Stores. Special Orders or Regularly listed items are all ok! (These must be purchased through the Idaho State Liquor Division, which will have a small white “sample bottle” tag over the barcode, noting that you are pouring from a sample bottle, or purchased from an ISLD Liquor Store. You MUST have a receipt for that purchase at your booth, if asked by an Alcohol Beverage Control officer.)
  • Small trash can to set in front of your booth for disposable sample cups
  • Your hearts, smiles, and enthusiasm about sharing your brand and products with the public!

Insurance: Once you apply and pay for your booth fee, please send us a copy of your event General Liability Insurance Certificate listing “Rachelle Kelch dba Sip Idaho” as additional insured for the event. Our business address is “3258 N. Yellow Peak Place, Meridian, ID 83646” for the certificate.

Please place the following note in the description area for our Boise Event: “Rachelle Kelch DBA Sip Idaho included as additional insured with respect to general liability and liquor liability for the Sip Idaho Liquor Tasting event on 07-08-2023 at the Riverside Hotel located at 2900 W Chinden Blvd. Garden City, ID 83714”.

Please place the following note in the description area for our North Idaho Event: “Rachelle Kelch DBA Sip Idaho included as additional insured with respect to general liability and liquor liability for the Sip Idaho Liquor Tasting event on 05-20-2023 at the Red Lion Hotel Templin’s on the River located at 414 E 1st Ave, Post Falls, ID 83854”

Please place the following note in the description area for our Idaho Falls Event: “Rachelle Kelch DBA Sip Idaho included as additional insured with respect to general liability and liquor liability for the Sip Idaho Liquor Tasting event on 07-08-2023 at the Hilton Garden Inn located at 700 Lindsay Blvd, Idaho Falls, ID 83402”.

This is typically a $1 million policy, which will need to include Liquor Liability, if you are pouring liquor samples. This can be obtained as a rider to your existing business insurance policy, but you may need to pull an event policy, depending on what type of insurance you already carry. We recommend you contact your insurance carrier and/or attorney for further details.

Still confused? Here are examples for Sip Idaho Boise and Sip Idaho North.

Please email insurance certificates to Rebecca Gainza at Office@SipIdahoEvent.com, or upload them to this form.

Important Details: The Hotels do not allow the use of glue, nails, tacks, or staples in the venue space. They also do not allow the use of open flame. There is no smoking of cocktails permitted due to fire restrictions. Please make sure to follow these guidelines when decorating and planning for your booth in order to avoid any additional fees.

Age Restricted Event: This is a 21+ event. All persons manning your booth space must be 21+. Although we all love our babies and pets, they are not allowed in the venue throughout the duration of the event.

Bartender Certifications: Per City Code, anyone pouring liquor must be TIPS, SafeServe, SureSell Now, A+ Server Education, or Boise Police Alcohol Server Training certified. Classes may be taken online between now and the event, and pricing varies, depending your class choice. Please note in the attendees area below who is certified. Please send in your bartender certifications to Rebecca Gainza at Office@SipIdahoEvent.com, or attach them to this Registration Form, in order to avoid any delays in acceptance of your booth space. A secondary non-certified person may man your booth and talk about the brand, distillery, etc, but not pour. We highly recommend that you attend the event yourself in person and use your time in Idaho to work the market. If that does not work out, certified bartenders are available for hire for an additional $200/booth space for the evening.

Ideally, we are looking or someone to teach a Mixology Class and a High-End Tequila class.

If you are interested in getting your brand name out there to several hundred attendees, we are looking for a company with branded guest bags for VIP hour (about 300 bags will be needed per location). We are also looking for cocktail shakers, bar spoons, and strainers for our Mixology class (about 40-50 of each will be needed), and we will allow attendees to take these home after the class. We are also looking for branded flight boards for our tequila and whiskey classes, about 40-50 of each will be needed.
